SCHOOL PROFILE Albany Weld Trade School is the premier Welding Trade School on the West Coast. We are Oregon's only licensed Weld Career Trade School. Our Oregon Department of Education License number is # 1712. We have been at our more centralized location (Between mile post 234 & 235) on Interstate-5 since 2003. Our Instructors limit the class size from four to six students per class session to give optimum attention to each students needs. The Instructors all have many years of Fabrication and Construction experience. The instructors know what is expected of the students upon graduation as they move on to the real work world. Weekly emphasis is placed upon finding and keeping the best paying jobs. The class schedule includes four days of five hours each in the welding booth. The fifth day is devoted to reading, assignments and job searching. Besides the State Career School Cirriculum we also offer drop-in skills upgrade, Training, Testing and Weld Certifications. We offer Weld inspection services and Seminars throughout the USA. Outside training and consultation are available. We assist many firms and contractors with meeting engineering and State Transportation Boards requirements for Pre-Qualified Records, Work Procedure Specifications and Personnel and Procedure Training.
